FUTURE PARK ON MONTICELLO DRIVE

Pleasant Hill Recreation & Park District plans to develop 5 acres north of the new Pleasant Hill library for a new park on Monticello Drive. This property was purchased from Contra Costa County in 2020 and is part of a comprehensive development project collectively known as the Oak Park Properties. 

The initial park conceptual design features bocce courts, a creekside walking path, a small play structure, and two lighted baseball/softball fields with overlapping soccer fields. Funding for the future park has not yet been secured since Measure A did not pass in 2020.
