Camp Class Instructor
Share your unique skills or hobby with our Summer Rec Campers! Class Instructor is the responsible lead teacher implementing the curriculum for their class during camp hrs. Class Instructor must design an 18-day lesson plan, lead the campers in the daily lesson, and serve as a mentor and role model.

Aquatics Program Now Hiring!
The District is recruiting for several part-time, temporary positions for our Aquatics program.These positions offer an excellent opportunity to be a positive part of your community while developing leadership, teamwork, critical thinking and collaboration skills. Bring your positive attitude and initiative and spend your summer with us!
Lifeguard - Ages 15 and up. Starting at $13.37/hour
Lifeguards, under the supervision of a Lesson Manager or Head Guard, provide supervision and safety at the District’s Aquatics facilities.
Swim Instructor - Ages 15 and up. Starting at $13.37/hour
Swim Instructors provide instruction for the District’s swim lesson program (infant through adult) under the supervision of a Lesson Manager. Swim team experience helpful, but not required. Training provided.
Swim Coach – Ages 15 and up. $13.37-$19.90/hour, based on experience
Coach daily practices and swim meets for the Dolfins Swim Team (April-July), under supervision of the Head Coach. Swim team experience preferred. Open until filled. Contact Talli Pitcher at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions regarding Swim Coach positions.
Lifeguard, Swim Instructor and Swim Coach positions require certification in American Red Cross Lifeguarding/CPR/AED/First Aid, Administering Emergency Oxygen and Title 22. If you have not yet been certified, check the Lifeguard Training page for a current class schedule.
Aquatics staff members work at one of two District Aquatics facilities and must be able to clearly communicate, as well as understand both verbal and written instructions. Performs a variety of duties and other work as required. Programs are held 7 days/week in the summer, from early morning into the evening. Most staff work an average of 15-20 hours per week. Mandatory training is held weekly in the summer.

Swim Coach Position - Open until filled
The Pleasant Hill Preschool is currently accepting applications for a Preschool Teacher. Under supervision of the Preschool Director, the Preschool Teacher is responsible for developing, organizing and teaching preschool age children during the school year and teaching camps during the summer. The position will be teaching children 1.6-2.6 years old, Monday through Friday 8:00am-12:00pm starting August 26, 2019. Summer camp hours Monday through Thursday with week-long breaks throughout the summer.
Park Maintenance Seasonal Worker

Bus Driver - Youth Services
Pleasant Hill Teen Center is accepting applications for bus driver responsible for the transportation of our after school program participants from two local middle schools to the Teen Center, Monday through Friday 1:45pm-3:15pm.
