AQUATICS (Spring & Summer 2021)

Our Aquatics Department is now accepting applications for Spring and Summer 2021. Additional Information
Final candidates shall be fingerprinted prior to appointment.
A reference check may be conducted and serve as part of the screening process.
Final candidates must provide written proof of negative TB test prior to appointment.
High school candidates under 18 are required to obtain a work permit.

YOUTH & TEEN PROGRAMS  (Spring/Summer 2021)

  • Summer Camp Counselors 
    Camp Counselors, under the supervision of the Program Supervisor or Site leader, are responsible for implementing the curriculum for the assigned day camp program including arts & crafts, games, swim days, field trips and special events. As a Camp Counselor you will:
    • Gain experience planning and leading arts, crafts, and games
    • Serve as a mentor and role model to campers
    • Acquire skills to safely and appropriately supervise young children
    • Learn to work as part of a team of leaders

  • Preschool Teacher
    Preschool Teacher, under the supervision of the Preschool Director, is responsible for developing, organizing and teaching preschool age children for Pleasant Hill Recreation Preschool during the school year and teaching camps during the summer. This teaching position offered is with children 18-36-month-olds Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 7:45-11:45 am starting immediately. This position requires classroom management skills, patience, good communication skills, and the ability to multitask.
