The Contra Costa Crisis Center manages an extraordinary database of useful resources and information for County residents. You can access social services and health information 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by calling the three digit, toll-free number "211" from any phone. Call 211 or 1-800-833-2900 or texting "HOPE" to 20121 will put you in touch with a counselor with CCCounty if you need to talk to someone or if you need up-to-date resources quickly. They have housing resources, grief support, help to stop smoking, financial resources, caregiver references and many other resources.

Home Match
This program connects community members seeking housing with older adults who have extra space in their homes. Each match is personalized with the process overseen by program staff-at no cost to participants. It decreases isolation, provides housing security and above all, builds community.

The Friendship Line can be a much-needed support service to aging adults at this time to those who need a connection or a listening ear. They provide calls in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Spanish.
