About Rodgers Ranch Heritage Center (RRHC)
Nested quietly in the center of Pleasant Hill is a beautiful historic site many residents have yet to discover. This hidden gem is the Rodgers Ranch Heritage Center (RRHC), a living history museum that serves to educate visitors on local history and the importance of green sustainable living. Lister on the National Registry of Historical Places, the farmhouse is now over 150 years old and is a thriving reminder of more simple and sustainable times. The farmhouse sits on a beautiful 2.1-acre site with shady trees, and bountiful gardens. 

Not only is RRHC a historic site but it remains an active hub for the community today. RRHC hosts a variety of community organizations, events, and activities for all to enjoy. Some of the community organizations include the Contra Costa Succulent Garden Club, a local chapter of The Northern California Unit of the Herb Society of America, the Pleasant Hill Historical Society, and the Rodgers Ranch Urban Form. Activities include gardening, canning, beekeeping, and informative sustainable living workshops provided in partnership with Sustainable Contra Costa. Events range from plant sales and seasonal festivals to comedy nights!
