    Senior Meal Deal The Senior Center is being forced to take a pause on our Senior Meal Deals due to the Health Order from the County. We will be able to start the program again once we have had some restrictions lifted. Until then, starting January 5th 2021, WiseGirl Ristorante in Pleasant Hill has created a New Years Carry Out Meal Deal especially for the Seniors that will be delicious. They will prep your order for pickup when you want it. This deal is valid the entire month of January 2021! What are WiseGirl's current hours? Tuesday-Saturday 2pm-8pm (If hours change due to County Health order, we will let you know it in this newsletter.) You will order, pay and pickup through WiseGirl, remember to say you are a Pleasant Hill Senior Center Member and you want the Special!

  3. CC Cafe Frozen Meal Pickup

    MUST PRE-REGISTER by e-mailing hfrates@pleasanthillrec.com or calling 925-771-7641 with name, phone number and how many meal packs you would like. Meal packs include 5 frozen meals, fruits, juices and a rotating schedule of milk, bread, oatmeal or other starches. Must come to Senior Center parking lot with mask to pickup meals. Meals will be picked up between 10:30am-11am. Donations are encouraged to keep program running, but no Senior will be turned away due to lack of funds. Must be 60+, must fill out 2 County required forms to receive meals. No meals available to anyone under 60 at this time. E-mail or call for any questions you may have. Thanks!

    Monday, January 25, 2021 11:00am to 12:00pm Care partners and care receivers with mild cognitive impairment are invited to join JFCS East Bay at our new virtual Memory Cafe. Memory Cafe participants can expect to find: • A gathering time to relax, socialize, and meet others facing similar cognitive challenges. • A chance for care partners and care recipients to enjoy meeting others and experience respite and renewal in a friendly and welcoming environment. • Engagement of participants in a variety of activities. • Connection with others, safely via Zoom. • Opportunities to laugh, learn, and explore. Services are offered free of charge to family members providing care and their loved ones with cognitive decline.   8. Parking Lot Bingo

    January 29, 2021, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Pleasant Hill Senior Center

    $5 per person, includes 1 Bingo Pack: 10 game play pack, dauber & pattern sheet - You can now purchase multiple Bingo cards at $5 ea for 10 cards, just let us know! No cash prizes, but winners will get a choice of different fun prize options. All participants will remain in their vehicles and play along through their FM radio. You can bring a different radio if you wish to not use your car radio. We will provide the radio station once you arrive Snack cart will be rolled through the parking lot so bring your dollars! Senior Center restroom will not be available for use. Restroom in the park will be open. Please plan accordingly and use the restroom before you come. Registration required. Space will be limited. Register by clicking here or call the Senior Center at 798-8788. Sponsored by Kaiser Permanente - Kaiser will be there to make a fun announcement before the games begin.
