Splashball at Pleasant Hill Recreation & Park DistrictSplashball! (Sept. 12 – Oct. 31)

Splashball is a "T-ball" version of water polo designed to introduce the sport of water polo to children. This fun, dynamic class will give basic skills and understanding of the sport of water polo in a recreational format while providing social development through participation in a team sport. TriathlonTriathlon Training Camp (Sun., Sept. 12–Oct. 31)

(9 yrs through Adult) (7 weeks)

Swim, Bike, Run! Learn how to train for a triathlon with basic to intermediate swimming, cycling, and running techniques. Includes information on bike safety and maintenance, transition training, nutrition, and entry in Family Fun Triathlon on Nov. 7. Instructor: Wayne Spaulding

TriathlonFamily Fun Triathlon

(9 yrs through Adult)
Join Pleasant Hill Recreation & Park District for a non-competitive, family-fun, fitness triathlon event which incorporates swimming, bicycling, and running! 14 & under race is 250-yard swim, 5-mile bike, and 2-mile run. 15 & over race is 500-yard swim, 10-mile bike, and 4-mile run. Pre-register by October 22 and get a free T-shirt. Race day check-in begins at 8 am.

Water Aerobics
Instructor: Jeaneen Cowen

Year round AM & PM Classes. The ultimate in low-impact aerobics for men and Women!  Classes offer all the benefits of land aerobics while cushioning the body from impact and providing resistance during all exercise.  Emphasis is on cardiovascular workout while toning muscles and slimming the body.  Swimming skills are not required.  Note: No class on legal holidays, Nov/Dec holiday break and instructor scheduled vacations.  Call 682-0896 for more information.

Public Swimming

The facility includes:

  1. Medium sized training pool
  2. 25-yard pool with two diving boards
  3. Sprayground
  4. Changing / Locker rooms
  5. Two picnic areas, with BBQ pit / two tables, on lawn area off the pool deck

ALL persons entering the pool must pay admission.  Fifteen-minute rest breaks are observed every hour.  Attendance determines availability of the training pool. If attendance is low, the facility may be closed after 3 pm. NO refunds if pool closes early. Download a flyer here.

Save money!  Purchase a Swim Punch Card and enjoy use of PH Aquatic Park during public swimming hours.  2010 cards, valid May 29 through Sept. 6, are available for purchase at the District Office, 147 Gregory Lane, or call 682-0896.

Season Swim Pass

Save $$$! Come play at the pool; it’s a great way to spend the summer!  Purchase a 2010 season swim pass, valid from May 29 through Sept. 6, for unlimited use of PH Aquatic Park during public swimming hours.  Passes may be purchased at the District Office, 147 Gregory Lane.  A Season Swim Pass Liability Release Form must be signed before participation (available only at the District Office).

Lap Swimming

Get in shape or develop your swimming skills at your own pace.  All lap swimmers must be able to swim 50 yards continuously.  Lanes may be assigned and circle swimming is required.  No playing, coaching or teaching. Download a flyer here.
