Over 300 fabulous women attended Wine Women & Shoes at the new Pleasant Hill Community Center on a glorious afternoon to support two local causes, Pleasant Hill Recreation and Park District and Hospice of the East Bay. Guests enjoyed fine wine, shopping, nibbling on delicious food, meeting hunky Shoe Guys, enjoying a professional fashion show and of course, trying on designer shoes. Fashion. Friendship and Fun-draiser!

American Iron Car Show

Downtown Pleasant Hill Pleasant Hill Recreation & Park District celebrates the 13th annual show! Take a walk down memory lane and enjoy the gorgeous vehicles of yester-year. Free to public. Vote for your favorite car and pick the Car Show winner! Music, Prize drawings and vendors. Participating car owners must pre-register and provide entry fee.

End of Summer Extreme Recess (Grades 1-7)

August 4 - 15th | Monday - Friday | 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
Location: PH Teen Center, 147 Gregory Lane, PH

Top off the summer with two weeks of extreme fun! Games & sports, Movies at Century Theaters & Lunch Out, Games2U, Swimming and trips to local fun spots including Water World, QZAR, Diablo Valley Bowling Alley, & Lindsay Museau!! Transporation provided.

Pleasant Hill Senior Center Wins
California Park and Recreation Society 2013 Award of Excellence for
Outstanding New Facility

Thank you to all our community supporters whose efforts helped make
this award-winning facility a reality.

Pleasant Oaks Park Grand Opening a Big Hit!

Gray skies didn't stop the community from coming out to celebrate on Sunday,
March 2nd for the Grand Opening of Pleasant Oaks Park. Participants
enjoyed a stunning rendition of the Star Spangled Banner by local
middle schooler, Alexa, followed by the official ribbon cutting
with Pleasant Hill Chamber of Commerce, the ceremonial "first pitch"
and "first soccer ball kick". PHBA and PHMSA were on hand to show their
support and team spirit. A fun day for all!

A special thank you to Steel Smokin' BBQ for donating a portion of their proceeds
to Pleasant Hill Community Foundation to help build a youth playground at Pleasant Oaks Park.

Over 1,500 People Celebrated the New Community Center Grand Opening!

On Sunday, January 26th, Pleasant Hill Recreation & Park District welcomed
over 1,500 people to celebrate the grand opening of your new Pleasant Hill
Community Center. Guests toured the grand new facility, watched live
activity demos, visited District and Co-sponsors exhibits, signed up for activities,
sampled delicious refreshments, listened to great tunes,danced and connected
with friends. This event marked the beginning of a new era of bringing the
community together for years to come.
